About UNAFF TFF MTL
Yellow Pad Sessions is proud to offer Montreal The United Nations Association Film Festival, Traveling Film Festival for the second year in a row in partnership with the McCord Museum.
Our aim is to present social justice themes that touch us all globally and locally through the lens of the Global Gaols, such as Poverty, Life Below Water and Gender Equality.
UNAFF was conceived in 1998 at Stanford University by film critic and educator Jasmina Bojic in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. UNAFF TFF MTL is proud to be a member of the UNAFF family.
UNAFF screens documentaries by international filmmakers covering humanitarian and environmental themes. It aims to bring together filmmakers, theme experts and the general public to offer a unique opportunity for exchange and education among groups often separated by geographic, ethnic and economic differences.
Films have the power to enlighten us , to touch our hearts and to create compassion in our collective consciousness. They garner a perspective to the human condition and the complex world we live in.
